| Would like to stress test Battlefield 1942 server
I have a server set up for battlefield 1942 and sbc just upgraded our upload speed to an effective 430. I would like to find out how many people I can handle before lag sets in and friday night seems like a good time to start. I have the most popular mods installed on the server so if you would like to make a request for what to play tonight feel free to.
This is the same server as my TS server is on so I am thinking that we should try and see if tachyon's is working in order to take the load off of the server so that it can be properly stress tested.
Thanks guys,
Fourthbean
BTW I have had 8 people in the server before the speed upgrade so I should be able to handle something like 12 if I am lucky so I need more than just bingo nunya and bizkit to come in!
edit: LOL I guess it would be helpfull to provide a server address! The IP address is fourthbean.servegame.com. Right now it is named "dc .7" but that will probably change.

Hey, sounds great, fourthbean! First Teamspeak, now this!
I remember trying to run mine - I could get about 8 on until Comcast killed my connection.
I'll test as soon as I get home (3 hours). |

I cannot find a rule about how long you should wait before bumping a thread. Does anyone know off the top of there head or can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Fourthbean |

Okay, I'm home. Everyone that's up to playing, get in Bean's TS server. |
