Just cap your upload with the program I suggested above.
What you can do with the bittorent client its copy the contents you downloaded to another pc and start the client again in that machine on the same directory it will pick up were it left.... | Dont' you have to have a subscription to download from FP?
I have a friend thats ISP is killnig his Torrent, so he needs an alternate way to download. I can setup an FTP on my machine, but my max upload is around ~50kbps so it'll take awhile.

Got my account made this morning. 
My friend copied the download onto a CD, so I don't have to wait 10+ hours for it to download to my computer.

then increase the upload a bit, I have to test the best value for me and for my connection it was 12kbps upload and i was getting 40-50 Kbps download.
People post servers you join maybe all of us can play togheter time to time... you will lvl up faster.
Altought the first 10 levels come pretty quickly. | |

If you got the free way you only will have to wait on the queue to get the download last time i checked the wait time was around 70 minutes. | |
