HALO 2 (a little late)

Why cant you compare them because the graphics are better? Yet you can compare HL2 to Halo2, when even though there may be some gimped port of halo 2 to PC in 1-2 years, its still a console shooter. No one made a huge buzz over halo on PC, the games success is rooted in the xbox.

I am really tired of people who can only play one of the games, taking away from one they cant, because their opinion of the game they can play is greater then the one they can't play.

Honestly, if you can play them both, why feel the need to pit them against each other in battle for which is the best game, to find a weakness that does not exist in a great game?
Half Life 2 being a great game does NOT take away from Halo 2 being a great game. You'd have to be either immature or kid to get that in your head, or both.

For the record, as far as I know, HL2 is still planned on being released for xbox as well.

Yes, HL2 is comming to xbox as well.

And while HL2 might sell alot. It wont sell more then halo2. It probably wont even come close. Halo 2 made over 100 million bucks on its first day. Makes sense because their were hundreds of people outside every EB and Gamestop waiting to get it all around the country.

So really. Doom3 and HL2 have been announced and are being made for xbox but Halo2 has had no word of a port to PC and is not even confirmed for it, and a company has not yet begun to port it. So you cant say its comming to PC but HL2 and Doom3 are not comming to xbox, you got it backwards

again its never going to be as good for console at it will for pc. I don't know if you heard this but halo was origninally meant for pc. XBOX just barely met the requirements and they had to butcher it a litttle.

Your talking about Halo, its in the past now in case you didnt know. Halo 2 is out and its the best fps Ive ever played and it kills Doom 3. I know about Halos history, prolly more than you. So do us a favor and stay out of console threads.

I dont think anyone is trying to take away from the other, people are just intrested to know which is better. To most people this is huge. Halo has been, and halo 2 (arguably) is the best fps on the console. Half life 2 (arguably) is going to be the best fps ever on the pc. So people just want to know which is the best fps ever.

Hmm yeah most people know halo was going to be on the PC then it was directed towards xbox.

Halo2 on pc will be butchered ALOT more the Half Life2/Doom3 on xbox.
