an amusing little game i found whilst taking an assesment at cisco netacademy.
probably not suitable for dialup, unless you are patient, but i think there is a downloadable version. it should keep the kids busy.

our teacher had us play that in class one day...its kinda fun but it takes for ever to play...especially when there is no sound
