For a hunter Duel Wielding if fine. Infact, on my hunter, I duel wield to as the weapons are usually faster meaning I can get a few more hits in the small amount of time when, and if, my enemy gets into melee range. When I was using a slow two handed weapon, the enemy could get into melee range just for a second or two and using a 3.8 second weapon, it would not hit the enemy as by the time he would swing, the enemy would already be out of melee range.

The other nice thing about dual wield is getting enchants on both weapons. +15 agi on a pair of bone slicing hatchets is pretty common for DPS hunters. |

I just hate it when multiple monsters pop up on me and I have to defend myself while my pet gets another. I'll probably go marksmanship mostly...donno yet...had 11 points sittin there |

Beastmaster is the best for levelling as a hunter. Marksman is the best for raiding.
So I've been told.
I'll tell you what, we used pets to tank Hakkar the other night. A good 60 hunter's pet has more armor and health than most 60 prot warriors. And they hold aggro better. |

I have a lvl 30 hunter and I spent the first 5 points in Hawk (for the chance of faster shots) and the rest where sit on marksman because you have a higher damage output from the hunter.
True beastmaster makes the pet do more damage and hold aggro better, but I prefer a fast dead mob and jump to the next one in less time.
Also having another player being Engineer helps... free better bullets than the ones in the market..
So far lock hitted 55 today im sure it will hit 56.... and I doubt I get far than that with him...
4 days for the zerg in outlands... |

I got up to 22, looks like the realm is highly populated now since there's a queue when I join now, and there's finally some good stuff in the AH. Bought a bunch of enchanted stuff that has made my bow attack nearly twice what it was. If I learn to use swords can I dualwield them (if they're single hand)? I saw that I have to get to some eastern city to learn swords... |

Undercity, probably. Just get on the Zep outside Ogrimmar and fly over. |

Alsoto dual wield some items will be Main hand and one hand...
One hand items can be used to effectively dual wield they can go in either left of right hand.
But main hand it means they can be only on the right hand..
Queues will be normal the following month due the release of TBC and the influx of players to the servers...
After the rush gets to normal servers queues will be lift up. |
