Usually I like to be the fighter sort of person, but I think I want to try something different. I have heard that the fighter class in WoW isn't really that good, but I am not sure if this is true, what would you suggest? |

Paladins- restricted to Alliance side, from what I hear very boring to play, probably will be scaled back soon.
Warriors, good tanks, kind of a low population so youll be in demand, plate armor, all kinds of weapons
Rogues- damage kings, stealth, pickpocket, pick lock, leather armor, great soloers...problem is you cant go five feet without running into one.
Hunters- get pet, big part of there scheme. Ranged attack, can wear mail after 40, um.....too much detail for me. |

If I were a warrior on the horde, what race would you suggest? I would think that Tauren or Orc would be the best, but I could be wrong. |

Pet melee damage increased by 5%.
Axe Specialization - passive
Orcs get +5 to Axe skill.
Taurens:
Racial Traits War Stomp - active
Activate to stun opponents within 5 yards - lasts 2 sec - 2 min cooldown
Endurance - passive
Max Health increased by 5%
Cultivation - passive
15 skill bonus to Herbalism
Nature Resistance - passive
All Tauren get +10 Nature Resistance
Undead:
Will of the Forsaken - active Activate to become immune to fear, sleep, and charm effects - lasts 20 sec - 3 min cooldown
Cannibalize - active
Increase health regeneration by 200% while consuming a corpse - lasts 15 sec - 3 min cooldown
Underwater Breathing - passive
Underwater breath increased by 4x
Shadow Resistance - passive
All Undead get +10 Shadow Resistance
Troll:
Berserking - active
Activate when "Wounded" to increase melee and spellcasting speed by 25% - lasts 20 sec - 2 min cooldown

It looks like I will be choosing between Tauren and Orc, they seem like the best to be a warrior with. |

Yeah, the ability to stun someone or have a greater chance to resist stuns is central to being able to control agro. Trolls are fun races, but they dont have anything that stands out as a good reason to be a warrior. But then again, it all depends really on what race you like. All of them will be fine warriors. |

I am not really sure what agro is, I have heard a bunch of people say the word, but I just haven't figured it out yet. I may sound like a newb, but I am not a newb about all of the game. |

"Agro" is the ability to keep a monster on you, which is what the warrior wants to do so it isnt hitting anyone else. Agro (or hate) is built through damage done or through abilities like taunt that generate agro. If someone else is building more hate than you, then the monster will go after them. So a warrior wants to have really high hitpoints and armor so that he can stand to have the monster beating on him as much a s possible. |

Now I understand what that is, thanks. I just have to wait until after school tomorrow and I will probably have it. |
