Hm. I would probably try it on my laptop, if anything, and it has an integrated Intel chip. |

Alright, I looked it over. My next question becomes "can I use plugins like normal?" |

I also wonder if this is possible under Kubuntu, as I prefer KDE to Gnome. |

I did everything found here
- I copied WoW from my Windows partition, I'd suggest the same so you don't have to install it, patches, and add-ons. I know you have it burned to DVD anyway.
- I have sound disabled. I never listen to it, so it's not that it doesn't work.
- I have pretty much all the keyboard shortcuts disabled (through Ubuntu) that involve the ALT and SHIFT keys.
I am totally impressed at how much smoother it runs in the cities and instances as it did on Windows XP.

Well, if I can't use alt and shift for shortcuts in the game, I sure ain't gonna do it. At least half the things I do I have hot-keyed using shift or control, and a few to alt.
I actually don't have it on a DVD, it won't fit.
I've never had any luck getting ubuntu to work with my network either. |

No, I mean I have them disabled in Ubuntu so they don't interfere with WoW. I would get odd menus popping up before I did and sometimes I would autorun and I would have to figure out what I hit in order to stop.
It'll fit on two 4.7's or a single 7.4. You'll figure it out. |
