We got back to raiding once again...

We one shotted Gruul lairs, Magtheridon and killed Luker is SSC...

We found out misdirecting firehand on the mage with arcane shot is bad

Problem is we couldn't figure out why my shield wasn't there every time till after we called it It's funny that none of the guides I've read say anything about that.

As said the most problematic part is the initial pull vs maulgar and his adds after that if mage tank is alive will be cake...

We had the most weird group composition.

No pallies
No hunters

I was like we were riding in the old days... well with the exception of the no hunters label.

Hmmm, well, I guess I don't need to waste honor marks on getting a helm with Crit, or Badges of Justice on getting a helm for raiding as I just got the helm from Netherspite which covers both


BTW, I've only seen us kill Netherspite with the strategy to just dps him down between portal phases, I think we should try that every time.

We did it running out between portals the last time, but we had four plates to soak up beams, which is a big help in that situation.

We definitely do better with staying in when the group is coordinated. It was perfectly executed the time we got him down, but I've seen the same strat go horribly wrong.

Gah, im sick of Karazan and i havnt even seen it all. My guild needs to get their act together. How did you guys deal with getting through the initial weeks of entering kara? My guild is sitting their wiping left and right spending days on some of the bosses. Shade has taken three nights, multiple wipes, and all my patience is gone.

Shade has well known for breaking groups..

Its what I call and execution fight, DPS needs to be on track of flame wreath... Ranged and healers on blizzard, and lock on the elementals that spawn at certain damage.

Prince will be worst because is very random fight.

The prince fight isn't hard, but it is totally random only due to the fireball guard things he calls down. I think Blizz needs to re-tool that fight because even the best guilds wipe on prince because of it.

The shade fight is all out dps. Get your rogues/druids or any class that can interrupt his spells to interupt his fireball and iceball (can't remember what it's called) don't interupt the arcane bolts. It takes him a while to cast them so he burns his mana slower. When he casts flame wreath, nobody can move or it's pretty much a guarantee'd wipe. When he sucks you all into the middle you have to immediately get to the wall. rogues and druids can sprint. Mages can blink. Rogues can use cloak of shadows. Other then that it's straight up. Shade has no agro table so agro is random. It's fight you can easily do before he summons his demons. If he summons his demons, everybody needs a health pot or health stone because he instantly takes off around 8k health once you come out of polymorph. If you trinket out of his polymorph, you will die and very much wipe the group. Kill two demons ASAP and banish the rest. Then finish dps'ing shade.

ya, couterspell frostbolt and fireball because the mana is spent at the end of the cast. Arcane missile's mana cost is paid at the beginning of the cast and if you lock out all 3 classes he starts running around and with his aoe counterspell if he happens by healers it can mean a wipe.

I think most people wipe at the elementals, they're hard to deal with but even without banish and fear you can mark or raid assist a target and kill them off one by one.

For a while we stopped dps at 45% (elementals are summoned at 40%) to let him sheep and drink, the pyro is easily survivable if you pot right after.
Also, ablilties like iceblock can get you out of the pyro, I just mash it while I'm sheeped and I get into the block before the pyro hits me.
