AHHHG! out of game time and its not in the budget to go get a card. Which leaves me out of Azeroth until the 21st.

Druids can also polymorph to break the slow effect on the arcane explosion teleport. Druid healers can pretty much stand right next to Shade the entire fight because all you want to be doing is casting renew and lifebloom, both instant and uninterruptable. I don't have to move the entire time except when he does the arcane explosion, and I easily escape that. It's pretty sweet.

The wipes come from A) polymorph and elementals at the same time, or B) elementals and flamewreath at the same time. That's why you have to watch his mana and health and make sure he's only going to poly or elementals at a given time. There's pretty much no way to survive poly + elementals no matter who you are.

Prince is a cake walk. Even a shitty guild group can take him. It's 100% luck the entire way. Either you get an infernal falling on the group or you don't. Either he flurries the tank for 15K in a second or he doesn't. When he does neither, you win.

yea shade was a pain. The group i am in is a fairly good group and the tank at least is geared well into T4. I myself am still working mostly off DT3 and awaiting a chance at some T4 drops, damn being the third in line for hunter gear.

Our leader said, straight DPS him down and that got us killed. I will advise throttling the DPS back in the low 40's to prevent some of the excessive casting he does.

If Aran is using the whole mana to do the polymorph then DPS classes need to improve their DPS output so he never reach that point.

If you got a shaman and at least 4 other meelee with him bloodlust while flamewreath does wonders vs him.

You keep forgetting that not all guilds are full of people geared like yours, washe. It's not as easy as you make it sound, bud.

Best we have done so far is get Curator down just after his second evocate.

And nemowolf, if your guild uses a priority order for members to get gear, then your guild is lame. We roll on gear, fair and square. There's no alts over mains priority either, but there aren't any of us that will roll against a main if we're on an alt. This is what makes a guild good, not how far and fast they can get in raids.

Gear comes easier these days than pre TBC believe me...

For T1, T2 you would have to be:

1. On all raids to earn DKP points.
2. Fight vs other same class guys (Hey 40 mans)
3. Be super lucky so the same shit doesnt drop week after week.

Now you got battlegrounds, arenas, loot with heroic badges..

Also after doing Karazhan for prolly two months up to Aran most of your core raider group should be geared correctly to beat Aran.

I dont play at the same time as the other hunter so he gets the spot before me. I play at random times from as early as 6:30pm to as late a start time as 9:30pm. Friday nights are the first night of Kara for my guild and unlike the kids and married folk in my guild ... im wanting to go out on friday nights ... so partly my fault.

They do rolling too, i just never seem to make it into the group when something for me would drop.

I totally agree but they have also made it so that the same boss that drops DT3 drops four classes worth of gear and i keep getting the same damn drops. Ive got two peices of DT3 and quest gear right now and im trying to get my set of DT3 as upgrades. Just sucks when i spend an hour+ on doing Bot or Mech or Shattered and i dont get a single drop cause everyone else gets a drop for their class.

Frustrated i guess ... I been thinking about moving to another server and trying my hand with a horde toon.

Yeah sometimes looks like the game hates you..

To gear up my shaman was hell, but priest healing set came pretty quickly, I had to do once or twice each instance to get the loot I wanted..

Weird but it happens.

i did steam vaults god knows how many times ... my last time through all this cloth gear dropped and some caster nicknacks. I got this gut feeling that my mantle was going to drop and sure enough it did. I have started to run Bot multiple times each weekend and i have yet to get my hand drops. I am getting so frustrated about it that i think im not going to reinstate my account and just wait for Wrath of the lich king.

Dont worry I got almost to Exalted with Thrallmar doing Shattered Halls to get my desolation gloves they never dropped got Tier 4 gloves in the first curator kill.

Wrath is still far I estimate another 3 months at least for an announcement..

We just got ZA and another content patch is still on the works with the Sunwell.. pretty much I estimate July for a new expansion at least.
