The hardest part of the fight... was the cubes actually because they had to be almost at the same time a slight mistake and boom raid dead.

Now the encounter is a joke...

well, there's still 5 cubes to deal with, but you only need 5 people for them now. wiped a few times trying to get cube clicking down.

I haven't been playing too much. I got stuck with having to read 50-100 pages each class every week this quarter. So not really worried bout getting anything happening. Most I've been doing is run instances to get gf gear/rep, or on our alts lvl'ing her priest. Unless I can find some late night Kara guild I'm just chillin' guildless for now.

Previous the nerf you needed 10 people, due that the first clickers couldnt do it a second time... and most of the time it was a mess..

We managed to get Vashj down to 20%, killed Winterchill and Anetheron in Hylaj fun times there at least its refreshing..

Well, after an extended break( 6 months or so) I will be renewing my account this coming week. Not sure if I will use my old characters again( 70 NE Priest, 45 Draenei Pally, 30 NE Druid) of if I will just start all over. Will prolly use the other characters to set up my new one I suppose and maybe try to get back into some high-end raiding with my 70 Priest once in a while.

Finally, after spending all week at work farming (yes, I play WoW while also getting paid ), and after 562 kills, I finally got the damn schematics for the Khorium Scope to drop.


On another related note, here are the other things that dropped:

2 x Crystalforge axes
20 green items
50 stacks of Netherweave cloth
115 Signets
15 Arcane Tomes


So even though I had to farm an ass load, I got decent amount of drops to make a few gold from.

I was able to catch up on D.Gray Man while I spent 5 hours staring at a terminal screen.

So how did the raid go? I saw Marrix's rant about people blaming others for raid wipes...

Will, could you help me out here? I am having a hard time deciding what gear I should go with pertaining to the new badge rewards.


This is my current gear:

Spell Damage: 717 (896 Frost)
Spell Hit: 166 (-1 Hit Cap)
Spell Crit: 149 (13.52%)

This is with the +Spell Hit badge gear:

However, with this gear, I lose the Tier 4 2 piece set bonus (No Frostbolt or Fireball Interrupt), but I can always switch that out depending on the fight (Like with Curator)



Between the +Spell Hit set and the +Spell Crit set the DPS difference is big, however, I do not know if CTProfile takes into account the +Spell Hit rating when adding up the DPS. A 3.2% +Spell Hit difference is pretty big.

However, if CTProfile does calculate the DPS according to how much +Spell Hit you have, then the +Spell Crit gear wins hands down in the overall damage output, even in a boss fight. I know that the spirit sucks, but I don't regenerate mana during a fight anyways with Molten Armor.


Any help in selecting what gear I should get would be great. Spending 100+ badges per item is a lot.

Actually, scratch all of that above. I just spent almost an hour in CTProfile switching out stuff, and came to find out that if I ONLY replace my current Robe with the +Spell Hit badge reward robe, that would give the biggest upgrade. My current boots, hands, and legs give better stats and DPS than if I were to replace them with any combination of the hands, boots, or legs from the new Badge rewards.

With only replacing teh Robe, I am still able to hit the Spell Hit Cap and have the highest DPS of 760 dps. With any combination of the other items, I could hit the spell cap, but I could not get the DPS higher. (I tried every possible gem combination I could think of)

SO basically, for the cloth armor, the only new badge item that is an upgrade is the Spell Hit robe, all of the other items would lower my DPS.


I tweaked the gems a little more and got 764.3 DPS while only being 2 under the hit cap.
