You can bypass Hydross to the other bosses without killing him?

I just did my first h run tonight since before 2.4 (not counting the time I was so drunk I fell asleep in the middle of an h sp run). Glad to know I'm not too rusty n stuff that I suck.

yep, you just run along the edge of the platform, might get some patting elementals but they're not hard to kill.

If you got both tanks with their resist sets ready Hyrdross should be cake for you guys...

Better be prepared with a lock with heavy fire resist for Leotheras, its a fun fight.

Alar is harder than most guild think.. probably you guys want to go deeper in SSC.

we gave alar a shot after VR with alot of people gone just to wipe and see how it goes, it really didn't seem too hard. For Hydross we've got a nature resist warrior and a frost resist warrior for him and a pally with 50/50 resist for the adds. Our first try on him wasn't bad but the healers need to get used to transitions (Whir needs to stop with all the HOTs hehe). We had a lock wipe us once or twice, and heal aggro killed us once or twice before we went over to kill lurker.

Our people are geared beyond what we're doing for the most part, it's just a matter of learning the fights and getting time to go do them.

I believe our druids doesn' t use hots by the end of each transition, only direct heals mostly...

resto shamans shine on that fight due chain heal.

He said he read something about downranking his hots if he uses them at all. I think we'll get him down this weekend.

I had asked one of my friends who was in hyjal/bt, n he said that a door was locked or something unless Hydross was down. Wish I would have known that first time we stepped in SSC, since Hydross was not much more than a wipe fest for us. Nobody read much about the encounters before we went in so tanks didn't have any resist gear.

You couldnt get to Vashj.. all the bosses had to die and you had to cranck a machine after all were set a bridge would appear leading to vashj.

Yea I figured as much. It would have just been interesting to see some of the other bosses while I was in their. You can do the bosses before Vashj in no particular order though?

Well I know you can get to lurker, he's right in that first room, I haven't seen past that.
