I was very suprised I didn't die. Months ago when I first saw Gruul I'd always die with a shatter. This time I just made sure to position myself so that when he'd stomp I'd be flying in nobodys direction.
My hunter/priest friend said he had his hunter in Kara with worse gear than I have now so I'm gonna see bout getting my hunter in for a run sometime, as long as majority of group outgears him it should be alright.
Trying to figure out how to gear up my shammy when he hits 70. Stats being all over the place throw me off, I'll be ok I think. I'm kind of stuck leveling him since I'm avoiding most rep factions, so I just keep switching between bgs and farming junk.
I think all of my dps I'm going to try as much as possible to avoid 5mans to gear up, doing pvp/drops/craft/reward/etc, should at least be able to meet absolute minimum requirement.

I had my hunter in kara at lvl 68 or 69, nobody's allowed to talk to me about hunters needing hit.

Nice. If I knew this guild better I'd see about doing that with my shammy, but I joined the last weekend, although mobs would prolly resist all shocks before 70 anyway.
Finally stepped in ZA for the first time and got that cleared... minus timed chests. Of course nothing I needed dropped but it was a good learning experience.
Although now I can't tell if I should be rolling for Amani Punisher or the Blade of Twisted Visions just because spell dmg & stam.

for a pally tank? the amani punisher is awesome. You could look up my tank on armory for how I do it heh.

Yea I see most pallys with that mace which is why I asked. I'm just gonna go for sword for moar aggro though. I see way too many pally tanks with low spell damage. That sword looks like it'll put me over 400. Got my sexy 100 badge chestplate of stoicism yesterday, put me over 15k armor unbuffed so I respecced, dropped imp devot aura n think I went for a cookie cutter straight raid build, and already having fun with it.
Went in The Eye for first time yesterday. We had VR half down then servers went down and we lost our save.. >.>

I don't usually put anything in imp devo. Now that I've actually looked at the sword, I still reccomend the punisher. While as a tank spell hit is pretty far down on priorities the sword has almost the same SD but punisher comes with hit on it. The hit on that mace is probably half of my total spell hit, and I've been thinking of getting spell hit to gloves instead of agility because raid bosses resist my judgements alot.

Ah yea I didn't pay too much to hit rating before but I'll keep it in mind. I'm not MT'ing any of the major bosses yet so it wasn't really too much of a concern. Hopefully I get that Hyjal trash mace before the za one though.
I guess that didn't take very long to figure out how wack the guild is... Minus the few cool people around. The other day we stepped in Hyjal to fuck around on trash after we were done with VR. Nobody was really paying attention first time that loot should have been on on group loot. I saw the Hammer of Judgement, Boots of Divine Light and at least 3 jc recipes drop off trash first try, but how was I supposed to say anything it's my job to keep aggro on me in there. I was gonna do it again tonight and I said change it to group loot since shit drops so much, n dude just blew up on me on vent. Somebody whos supposed to be grown man qq'ing to everyone on vent about how nobody needs hearts of darkness and to pass so they all go to guild bank (so he can loot them for himself later), so I just said I wasn't going to do that without group loot unless they wanna pay for my repair bill.
Been signed up for all za runs since I first went in n now they just blow me off and take people who aren't even signed up for it, even though I'm there n ready on time. So fuck it shit like this keep going on I'm just gonna gquit go back to lvl'ing alts n farming goldz.

from what I've read hyjal should be on group loot due to not having time for getting the trash.
