Yea I was already researching Hyjal before I stepped in. I felt like the only one who did.
We've had no issue downing trash waves until abominations and by then we've already lost a couple dps to get em down in time before next wave.

I guess that didn't take very long to figure out how wack the guild is... Minus the few cool people around. The other day we stepped in Hyjal to fuck around on trash after we were done with VR. Nobody was really paying attention first time that loot should have been on on group loot. I saw the Hammer of Judgement, Boots of Divine Light and at least 3 jc recipes drop off trash first try, but how was I supposed to say anything it's my job to keep aggro on me in there. I was gonna do it again tonight and I said change it to group loot since shit drops so much, n dude just blew up on me on vent. Somebody whos supposed to be grown man qq'ing to everyone on vent about how nobody needs hearts of darkness and to pass so they all go to guild bank (so he can loot them for himself later), so I just said I wasn't going to do that without group loot unless they wanna pay for my repair bill.
Been signed up for all za runs since I first went in n now they just blow me off and take people who aren't even signed up for it, even though I'm there n ready on time. So fuck it shit like this keep going on I'm just gonna gquit go back to lvl'ing alts n farming goldz.

Demanding something from a guild you just joined, especially something as ridiculous as that, is not going to earn you points. Though, it sounds like a crappy guild anyway if they have that kind of mentality.

You'll only tank if it's on group loot or they pay your repair bills? That's pretty ridiculous. Being in a guild isn't about how much YOU can get, it's about getting as far as you can with a group of like-minded players. So long as you only care about yourself, you'll never find a good guild and never get far.

No no that wasn't even the point. And I was being a dick at that time because douchebag had me all riled up. I wasn't going to step in there, get a 15g+ repair bill from a wipe and nobody walk away with anything. I only need one thing so I definately wouldn't be in there for myself only, especially if I'd be around for multiple wipes. First time I was around for VR down I passed onto someone else because they been helping me get caught up in gear since I joined. I couldn't really care about gear as long as we having fun. I know your much more progressed than I am Whir, not sure why you would consider group loot on Hyjal trash a ridiculous demand? Most guides and videos I've gone through have backed up what I'm saying that group loot is the best idea for Hyjal trash, there's 3 minutes between last Hyjal trash wave and Boss so there would be plenty of time to change it if we could get past that last wave of trash.

It's not really about the group loot thing. Just making demands in general.

Our guild only has one boss in TK and one boss in SSC down. We've never even been to Hyjal.

I didn't really think it was that bad of a suggestion? I would have expected the raid leader to know more on the issue than me but they didn't. I've always been the type to offer suggestions and ideas to group/guild from the start, no matter it be first day, first week or first month, I always try to bring something to the table share my knowledge or something like that. Seems like I'm the only one pointing out to amplify magic on everyone when we do Gruul's, or next time we do Mag's the designated clickers should be those with deadly boss mods or some sort of timers for the fight on - for example. If nobody else is going to say something I might as well say something, you know. I thought I was only doing what any knowledgeable competent raider would do. If being a prick is required to get my point across so they go look up the info theyself, then I'll do it. But it shouldn't have to come to that.
I thought y'all was farther than that? We have like 3 or 4 bosses down in SSC n 1 down in TK, they just have the ssc scheduled when I have class so it not too cool. I was fairly suprised to actually see Hyjal when the most I've cleared was za.

I think the point is how you made the 'suggestion'

If you were fighting through waves and said 'make it group loot now or pay my repair bills' then it's not going to be recieved well. Any suggestions should be made before the raid actually starts an event like that and if you don't then it's your own fault.

Edit: Oh, and we got hydross down finally

My computer died and I replaced with a new shinny Quad Core 6600 and gave it a whirl with Vista 64 and 4 gigs of ram...

Finally I had Shattar without system lag...

Also I managed to install hackintosh and gave wow a try... The framerate were almost the same, but mac wow loaded faster using the same interface folders..

Im a bit surprised about it.

I suggested it when we did it the next day before we got out their, after I had looked up info about stuff. Well I wasn't in their very long. We did it last night and they were just being retarded and telling me I know nothing about the instance, despite I have plenty of Hyjal trash and boss vids on my Youtube playlist. The last straw was when I greeded on a Mark of Illidari and this kid proceeded to scream obsceneties into the mic at me as he demoted me (they didn't say pass until after I greeded but either way they just want everyone to pass so the officers can horde them to thereselves). I stopped everything I was doing at that point and waited for a wipe and gquit as soon as I was ghost. I already got in the gf's guild and a bunch of people said they left the guild I was in over similiar reasons.
