Alliance vs. Horde is going to be difficult

I like the difference in chars the Horde has.. not all people based.
Orcs/Trolls/Taurens all look different
vs.
Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes etc that still look like people just of different sizes.

We should definately have a vote.
Appears the clan I was in, in L2 won't be making the switch over so if we can get a decent group going here I'd consider joining up.

My preference goes to the Horde because I want my mighty shaman again (also I know most of the initial quests there).

Lets see what the fellow guys of techimo.

We can pick any race we want the guilds begin to gather a lvl 10.

I still dont know about this game. I guess I might have to buy it to see if it meets my needs lol. To me, when you explained how slow you leveled washe, that was very fast by my standards

Scotty, if you like slow monotonous take 10 years to to level games.. you'd probably prefer lineage 2.
The grinding is endless to just get to 30
(Unless you're power levelled, or twinked then its not so bad but from what I've heard there is a very distinct wall at lvl 50 that even a power leveller hits)

Getting to lvl 30 is pretty quick.... going from 30 to 60 it the time consuming activity.

Not like that heh. Eq1 was slow because it actually made you find groups with people that knew how to play that game to level.. so it took some time, you had to find people with common sense enough to really know the game even at those levels... which explains why there are so many haters of Eq lol... they just could not play that game I got lucky through my 30s, found constantly good groups inside of a place EQ people know as, "Paw" heh.... stupid Knolls, they suck The game just required you to put some serious hours into those groups, if you put the same amount of hours, but got less effiecency, your exp gains die. I dont want to play a game to fight forever and gain little to no exp, unless its at the end of my characters level stretch, going from the last few lvls...

How time consuming is going from 30-60? How much what you estimate it as. I would estimate the fastest time you could pull that off in EQ if you played regularly throughout its peak (99-01) you could expect to hit 60 a year or so after you hit 30...

that to me is mind numbing and boring.
I dont want to pay 15 a month for a a full time job, I already have one
I want a game that is actually fun.

It was fun When you hit 60 there is LESS to do lol. More time in between the levels is a testament to the games architecture. I dont want a game where I max out after 5 months, and its over .... It takes a while to get to 60 because of all the things you will go off an do, not because there is nothing to do and the exp comes in slowly...

If you can max a character out in a mmorpg so fast, its not so massive

My buds and I always like to make complementary, 3 man groups..

So what would your recommendations be for a 3 man group for both Alliance and Horde ??

If this were EQ1. *shudders*, it would include a Warrior, Cleric, and perhaps a Drood.

All suggestions are gratefully considered.
