well seeing they both have finding skills and you can only use 1 at a time, yea, i made 74g by lvl 30 with my mage using herb/skinning

You kinda screw yourself in one off the gathering options, altought mines are easier to find than herbs..

Best bet is being Herbalist/Skinner or Mining/Skinner, I get lots off money doing the mining / skinning... I dont know why but stones sell for a high prices lately

I get lots of money just by Herb. itself. I made 60g in 3 days selling herbs at the AH to get money for my mount.

But, on our server, since the Alliance to Horde ratio is like 5:1, the horde economy sucks. Not a lot of people are amking money, so they up the price on items in the AH. But even if they up the price to hopfully make more money, they won't because no one else has alot of money.

For example, Stacks of Fadeleaf, Liferoot, Goldthorn, Sungrass, Purple Lotus, etc... (Other comparable higher lvl herbs) are selling for 4-10g per stack.
