Well that's a little extreme, especially for those who are prevented from accessing older games that they already own, Counter-Strike et al.
I know that they have to do something to counter these cheats, but I'm a little concerned that it is still locking out legitimate owners of previously released Valve titles.

i know several people here have complained about having thier accounts banned, i wonder how many were cracked verisons |

I don't understand, why do you have steam account if you have the pirated version?
Is it like people have bought like counter strike, and got steam account that way, and now those people are trying to activate their pirated half life2?

i got my account disabled for no reason... =\ and so far support is going absolutely nothing to help... i payed $73.14 for HL2 silver...
