Time Pilot for Coleco
I remember the graphics as being crisp and clear. An awesome game. They had it on the Atari too later on I think. Likely a major jump in graphics, heh. |

I remember super mario bros. 2 & 3 too well for my own good...
(smb 3 the 1st flute was in the 3rd stage once you ducked on the white thing, the second was flying up in the first castle to the secret door )
sonic was awesome, all the way through the sonic and knuckles ones
More greats for genesis were dynamite heddy and alien storm or whatever it was called...mmmmmmmm.....i love the old ninja gaiden such a good fun game, duke nukem 3d and mario kart, mario 64, doom, wolfenstein 3d, perfect dark, 007, zelda thru zelda OOT, castlevania thru SOTN, tasty games that are all my favorites.

Great thread
I miss most games since I first got my Nintendo 8 bit and Super Nintendo 16 bit. I have to get Gamecube to play Metroid Prime, for that one game...duh~

Some games that come to mind for me are: The original castlevania, the teenage mutant ninja turtles game, Worms (god i used to rock at that game), Rampage, Phantasy Star Series, Landstalker (was INSANE), Jackal, Sonic 2 (it was an icon really), just to name a few. There were SO many great games back then, games that were actually a joy to experience, not just trodding through them to see some cool visuals. That was the golden age of video games.
I really wish i hadnt sold my genesis, i only got like 30 bucks for it from some kid my mom knew. man that thing gave me so many hours of fun.....
Nowadays those games would just be laughable, but just remembering playing them all kinda makes me think back to that semi-magical time when those games were just these incredible portals into another world. Good times..... |

remember the first game that required you to use a mouse to aim now it is normal. man i didnt think that duke nukem would set a standerd but duke 3d did. comand and conquer/ red alert, operation flash point now that i realy think about it there are too many good games to mention and some how 007 golden eye for n64 made it onto my list of good games.
oh almost forgot...... POKE'MON the series that enslaved millions of people around the world.
