I Think We All Should Remember ...
Games like ...
- The Ultima Series
- Most Games For Nintendo
- Wolfenstein 3d
- Sega Genisis
This were classics that kick the crap out of most games today, I'm I right. I can't remember them all but these are the ones I'll never forget.

I hate spelling mistake ... I put "This were classics ... ", I meant "These were classics ... ". Though I'm not that good of speller that's why I try to stick to the easy words

Games have moved from scoring points to playing a story line. Anyone can beat a story line after a while, but playing for a high score is what true gaming is about. I think TechIMO sould have a posting category for high scores (though they might not always be trust worthly
)
Even bringing back old games like Sonic and putting them on new platforms would be awesome.
Thanks for the 'edit button' help GroundZero3

Duke Nukem 3D? how could you forget it, i'm sure i remember playing it lan too though that may have been another game. I think one of the best ever games is Street Fighter 2 for sega mega drive, which is just coming back out on xbox. I also remember playing Golden Eye for N64 for hours and hours on end, that was a very, very good game.

Nothing like the old simple games of yore.
Of course, with the advent of portable gaming on such devices as cell phones, a lot of those old games were reborn...if just for a little while.
Who can resist Ms. Pacman at a movie theater if you've got 15 minutes or better to kill?
I had to leave it running to go watch my movie after 20 minutes of playing with my friend.
So, if you are really nostalgic, you can run over to www.clanimo.com and play some of them as flash games. Go beat my score on Space Invaders...I dare ya!

Anyone remember Descent? I was hooked with that one. I remember playing it on my 486DX/33... Choppy as all hell but still a blast to play. Then I upgraded to a Pentium 200MMX and played it on there and was like....

Hi,
The oldies were the goodies.
My Father brought me a watch ( I think it was Casio) from Hong Kong or somehwere that had a pac man type game in it the longer you played it the faster you had to push the buttons. I was devastated when the sweat of my skin caused the "Stainless Steel" case to disintegrate and it fell apart.
I have owned and still own a number of watches since then that cost many times over what that did, none of them have ever come close to keeping me entertained as much as that did.( I am presently wearing a 15 yr old Casio G Shock)Cheers

nodnerb2 I find the funniest thing about those G shock watches is the force needed to break the watch will kill the owner.
Pong the first .
I think Zelda original may be the one responsible for the story line games getting popular.Theres a site that has a PC version.

I just played Quake 2 at school for an hour and killed 116. Although I have to say I prefer HL2 to quake 2 anyday.
