Help!!! Half Life 2!!!!

I downloaded half life 2 demo on my comp and when i try to install it, it says steam servers are currently busy to handle my request and to try again in few minutes. I just want to play half life 2 demo! I dont want to wait!!@#!@#$%!@#$!@$

Same thing happened when Half-Life 2 was offically released and people were even more pissed couse they could not play even though they has already paid for the game.

I downloaded the demo and well when I clicked it to install then it didnt do **** so I just deleted plus Ill probably buy it in a little bit anway ya one thing you can try though is that if you have a steam account log into that then just shut down steam unhook your internet install the half life 2 demo and run it using offline mode should work I know I can do that with my friends account, WITH HIS PERMISSION of course

I understand why they do that on a retail version but on a demo version which is available for anyone with an internet connection. That sucks.

Dont mean 2 b rude but the demos are not the game.. they are just 'demos' why should u have 2 use steam to play hl2 demo? i have hl2 and it took me 45 mins to install hl2 and cs source on my pc after all the files were put on.. that annoyed me... but i noe why they do it... but a demo? u cant crack and play the entire game if its a demo... its just supid... u downalod and play demo's to sample games.. somethings they come up wiht just annoy me... its because its getting harder and longer 2 install applications and why? because those hacks like 2 crack everything; why? because some of those applications and games are so unrealisticaly priced that no one in their right mind would buy them unless in utter need 4 them.
