I DL'd it last night from ATI.com on my cable connection and was getting like 1500-2000kbps.

anyone know if this demo is worth the download ?? I am currently downloading it, (just started) and want to know if i should keep it downloading... ??

I would advise you to keep downloading. This demo is awesome IMO. There is one "introduction" mission, and one "monster-killing" mission. The demo really gives you the feeling of the real game.

cool, i downloaded a demo , Medal of honor, pacific assault, but it was so short..??? didn't last maybe 15 minutes...then said i completed the mission...?? over 500 MB, so that is why i asked about this one... | |

Well, it takes a long time to download every little detail of the game you know...  For example did you try to pick up bottles and break them? In the first level, you can pick up bricks, and throw them at the guards. They get pretty pissed. It took you 15 minutes? Both levels? Took me about an hour 'cause I couldn't find one stupid switch in Ravenholm... | |

Cryptoguy, sweeper the second was saying that he had downloaded a different demo that was huge and only had 15 minutes of gametime, not half life2. | |

i don't know what to do in the HL2 demo.... grrr.... what is my mission, or what ami trying to accomplish since i have no weapons etc... ?? i got to meet the freind, then climbed out the window like he said... now i am walking around???? | |

to anyone who had preloaded HL2 thru steam and is waiting for funding to purchase..... You need not download the demo... jus install it thru steam, and it unlocks the two levels in the demo for u to play. no long wait  solved!
