Ya thats what I hate about steam you have limited things you can do with your account, but then again they do you have to keep from pirating and all that stuff, well good luck and sorry,
EDIT: maybe you can send them a email saying that you guys are brothers and would like to change the accounts somehow they probably wont listen but who knows .....

this is where keeping a hacked version on hand comes in handy! I had the same problem with a friend, we said screw it and made quickie bogus accounts.

It doesnt really keep piracy down though... because the pirated copies completely bypass Steam, so really all its doing is hurting the legit people.
I suppose it might help keep people with pirated copies from gaming online as easily though. |

Yah, that sucks. I have the same concerns. And i don't really think Steam would listen if you e-mailed them. I mean it's ... Steam...

Well, on a sort of related note, I had email corrospondance with Alcohol Soft because I had changed service providers and hadn't thought to update my email addy with them. I've got the same problem with Steam, my old HL account with them is with AOL, and I made a new one with Comcast. Some day I suppose I should see if I can get my Steam Account updated with my new Email to see what they have to say.
Alcohol Soft was more than willing to help me out via email, and got a customer for life. |
