Battlefield 1942 help

Im also haveing trouble with my battlefield, after i type in my Cd key, it says
String MSGBOX_NO_DDRAW_NO_VERSION was not found in screen table
then i click ok and it says this,
MSGBOX_NO_DDRAW_NO_VERSION(DXsetup-a)
then i click okay an it exits for me!Can you please help???

I guess theres a f-load of people getting errors. I got one too but totally differen't

I think almost all the EA games have real problems....

Think about the Lotr: Return of the king, that was so gay, i wasted 30$ on nothing...T_T

I was first in doubt whether to buy the battlefield 1942, but I really wanted to play it, so i could play it but some stupid error wont let me!!!! I guess I will sell it on ebay or smthing!

My friend gave me the vietnam battlefield discs and i already downloaded the others ones How do i download this one because when u download the last disc for battlefield 1942 it will ask u if u wanted to download vietnam and i said no is there any way to download the vietnam without the other battlefield game discs please help me
