Battlefield 1942 help

Hi,
I just tried to install battlefield 1942, and when i come to the installshield window, and i click next, i get this error saying

"Strings MSGBOX_CANT_FIND_EREG_FILE"

and then when i click ok i come up with another error saying,

"MSGBOX_CANT_FIND_EREG_FILE(E-Reg)"

can anyonhe help me?

Is your disc all scratched up?

your cd probably contains a faulty file, or corrupted. If it is a copied version, you should get another one.

and no its not scratched at all, its all new
and i was installing in my dad's comp and in my comp, installaion works just fine!

its probably a simple MSDN error or registry error. I;m not sure.

Yeah its a registry error it seems like. Try installing without running any background programs.

1) Wats MSDN error?
2) Wats registry error?
3) mingyu01 says that the cd might contain spyware...wtf?
4) The cd is in perfect condition
