Battlefield 1942 help

Hi,
I just tried to install battlefield 1942, and when i come to the installshield window, and i click next, i get this error saying
"Strings MSGBOX_CANT_FIND_EREG_FILE"
and then when i click ok i come up with another error saying,
"MSGBOX_CANT_FIND_EREG_FILE(E-Reg)"
can anyonhe help me? |

your cd probably contains a faulty file, or corrupted. If it is a copied version, you should get another one. | |

and no its not scratched at all, its all new
and i was installing in my dad's comp and in my comp, installaion works just fine! | |

its probably a simple MSDN error or registry error. I;m not sure. | |

Yeah its a registry error it seems like. Try installing without running any background programs. | |
