512->1GB + HL2

Upgraded from 512MB to 1 GB of Geil PC3200. Both running @ 6-3-3-2 and I THINK they are in dual channel.

Anyway, brought on an 8.3% increase in HL performance and Load times are a LOT faster.

WARNING: An update for HL2 just came out so that could have affected the game's performance. Oh well! I'm having fun!

I've tested with both 512MB and 1GB, there was a VERY noticable difference for me in gameplay.

good because i bought 1 gig.

and along i come with 3 gig of ram. normally between 80 and 180 fps. load times are pritty good ( about 5 to 10 sec). all in all not to bad now if only they could get there act together i could play some counter strike. i am ment to be in a clan match right now but steam has decide it wants to toy with us today. 15 god damn hours i have been trying to play any thing to do with steam today.
