| C&C: Red Alert 2 LAN Games
I just picked up a couple new games, one of them being C&C: Red Alert 2 I am having a little trouble getting a LAN game going. When I click on "Network Game" it looks as if it is about to switch to a different screen, but it just switches to the same screen it is already at. When I go into the "Newtork Options" it says that IPX is not availible or something like that... Any ideas? Im use to normal LAN games, and don't know about IPX games.. Thanks..

Most games use TCP/IP for multiplayer LAN, C&C uses IPX. It is a protocol that you just need to add to your existing network settings. |

I assume you are using W98, go into network settings and click add, select protocol and then IPX/SPX. I have W2K so I am trying to remember, W2K is a little different. |
