I downloaded a hl2 benchmark application to try it out on my computer, but now whenever I play half-life, in the upper right corner it's constantly display the fps, and it's getting annoying. I uninstalled the benchmark program, but my problem still remains, what do you guys suggest?

Reinstall half life would be an option, but someone may come with a better solution yet.

In console, try "net_graph 0" without quotes.

To go into console fist you gotta goto controls and click advanced option. Then check the enable console box. After that press ` in game and try either net_graph 0 like Arctic Fox suggested or cl_showfps 0
