Newegg.com is the best place to buy everything you need.

Why don't you browse through a few similar threads before starting a new one?

Send a message via Yahoo to JPMiller
When choosing a CPU, you merely search within the socket type needed for your motherboard and buy the fastest one you can afford... its as simple as that...
If you go with "Retail" you get a HSF (heatsink fan) included,
with OEM you need to buy one seperately...
doesnt get easier than that!
----------
Tiger Direct is considered a fairly poor vendor due to pricing, and shady rebate offers...
Its tough to beat NewEgg for just about anything

$45 plus $21 cheapest shipping = $66
http://store.yahoo.com/amamax/niatblatxmig.html
free shipping = $36
Amamax is tough to beat for cases...

hey guys
i too k my comp to NANOSYSTEMS and they looked at the windows install my friend did.
they said it is corrupt. i have the XP disc, however, it will not boot from the disc. it says my comp has no hard drive. WTF i took my cover off and i discovered that my hard drive was plugged fine. what is the problem

also, how do i make a backup of files that i want when my burner wont work
each file is pretty big. My damn pioneer burner that geeksquad gave me works, but i dont know what program to use to backup my video files. So, if anyone can help me to burn without doing a system restore

here's my problem

indecember this computer would not burn cds correctly. the files i was trying to burn were ok but when i burned the cd, the audio was all scratch. i have tried every burning program i know of but it still wouldnt work. i took it too the geeksquad because i still have my 3 year warranty. They kept the pc for a few days and they told me there was tons of spyware/adware/trojans/viruses/malware on my comp. now i know that isnt true because i ran adaware, spysweeper and norton every day!.

they told me i needed to do a system restore and that i would lose all my files. they installed a new dvd burner. they seemingly tried to install the drivers, but they said it was unsuccesful. i tried it myself and i did it perfectly. i dont wanna do the system restore cause there are video files(no not porn for all you sick minds out there) i thought i would get a 2nd opionon. thx and plz help me guys

well, you can do 2 things, go to geeksquad, and have them show you the supposed spyware etc etc. If they are still bsing you, i recommend making back ups of those "videos" and do a system restore. Hopefully, geek squad will be able to help you though, make sure they have proof there is spyware on your computer though
