What Game Do The Marines Train With?
I saw an ad somewhere for a game that said the marines train with it. Something about beriut in the title I think. Anyway, does anyone know this game and is it any good, you know, worth the dough? Thanks!

I'm not quite sure but maybe this is what you're looking for: Younger Marines Use Video Games to Prepare for Insurgents
Or this: First look at First to Fight
Or: U.S. Marines use computer war games to train for battle
I don't think there's any "official" game. The idea of using the games is to enhance the marine's acuteness to his surrounding."Be quiet, Brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip"

they use americas army it teaches them to work together in squads also helps them to identify multiple targets quickly and precisly. well that is what i read about a year ago.if it is not broken, play with it till it is.

i saw a news article suggesting that full spectrum warrior was responsible for an increase in recruiting to the british army. maybe the marines were playing that. or maybe they play manhunter and feel compelled to go out and kill after a few games?

I've been playing call of duty for the last hour, just got to grab me Sten gun and I'll off to Nomanday
GamerTV or something like that - were interviewing the devlopment staff at THQ they were a bit worried at first about releasing it as the Army version is so realistic. FSW is a bit diffrent than the miltary one, as they added stuff the status icons etc.. to make the game easier
bit more about it:

The main training tool is to go out and do it. You are given a senerio, a mission and are graded on your ability to do it.You are given a complete run down on what you did right or wrong. Nothing replaces live training and the games only serve as reminders of the things you need to keep in mind.
