Dugeon Lords Character Customization
Is there anyway to enable the character customization. The default characters aren't good.

Anyone? I have been hearing you can customize your character by replacing some of the files.

May 26th, 2005, 10:46 AM #4Yup, I think its v1.2, but from what I have known or read, there isnt any character customization there. Just a few bugs fixes, quest fixes and map fixes.

May 26th, 2005, 08:43 PM #6I'll post here about what they say on the next 2 patches this is coming out. They say its out in the coming weeks but I think it will take about a month or two for it to be released.

According to the letter, the patch will address the game's automap feature and character customization options, as well as other general bug fixes. This game has serious potential and it's good to hear it just might get there!
Heuristic Park artist Charles "CHUK22" Vinson stopped by Typhoon Games' official forums to provide an update on an upcoming second (and third!) patch for Dungeon Lords. Here's what he had to say:
Update 2 should be up soon... been fixing some critical issues.
Notably fixing timing with Elderon and Morgus and the doors they pass through to keep them from getting stuck. Some machines experiencing specific framerates in those areas can cause problems with the timing. This has been fixed.
Also, the anomaly which sometimes causes the messenger at the Unholy Arc to not arrive has been fixed.
Other changes:
Helmet and other inventory bug fixes:
More spell availability functionality fixes.
Junk Inventory has been implemented (and new balancing economy wise based on that)
alot of other miscellaneous fixes....
Update 3 is planned to contain automap functionality and character customization.
These heavy issues have to be addressed all at once, as they create compatability issues with earlier savegames/multiplayer versions.Last edited by Top Gun; May 26th, 2005 at 08:50 PM.

May 26th, 2005, 08:53 PM #8Yup, you said it. I was hoping to playing the game when I got it, but looking at all the bugs especially the character customization makes me think twice in playing it. Also the patch will not allow you to play your previously saved games so might as well wait for the patch. They shouldnt have released the game it there were a lot of bugs. *Snickers*

The point was, since you missed it, is that if you are going to claim someone else did the same thing, provide proof to back up your statement. If, as you said, it was "one click away".
Oh, look! A NEW Obama scandal!!!
