Me and my friend are arguing over which game is more popular and more known, GTA San Andreas or all the Counter-strikes (1.6, Condition zero, and source).
Thanks, must settle this argument.

I don't know...
theres thousands of people in the server list in steam for CS and people talk about it alot on the internets....
GTA is pretty much known to the public for at least having a commercial and having old political farts ramble on about the content....
I guess it evens it out.... why would you be arguing over this anyway? Go make some cookies and give your friend a hug.

Well, I really hate the GTA games...I played Vice city once...boring as hell IMO, you can only kill so many people before it just gets stupid...and SA, well I couldn't figure out what to do in the 10 min I played it...and they are so hard to control also...
I haven't played CS, but it looks like a good game...some day when I get some more money, I will buy HL2 and CS S, but I have to many other things that I need first.
I think that GTA is more popular with the younger kids, because they think it is "cool" to play it...ya very few people play it at my school(senior this year), and my brother just finished Mid school, and all the people that he hangs out with play the game...stupid kids...

I like them both but I like Gta Sa better because I'm not that in to that online game playing

i played CS for xbox, and i got GTASA the day before it came out for ps2 cause i pre ordered it, and i like GTA a lot more!!!

i am exactly like EX i think more of the younger and immature kids play gta because they obviously think its cool to say the "N" word and kill people i guess? But i mean come on ive seen 10's of thousands of servers among the Counter-Strikes, and about that hug thing. No. | |

I think CS:S is not a bad game, but there are way too many hackers and stuff there. If you are new to CS, you get killed in 3 seconds, and the fun really fades.
GTA:SA is a good game, IMO, creative and all. Not boring for the most part. I played and played it, until the part where you have to conquer gang territories (in the end). Then it got too hard  and boring.
Even though I voted for GTA, you have to decide for yourself which genre you like more.
