| War hammer 40000: Dawn of War
Anyone had tried this one... looks like I played too much WoW and missed this RTS? |

its a little bit warcraft 3ish... but im warning ya... wc3 ft is much more flexible and addicting than this game... (its not bad, but not as good as wc3ft) |

I like it. Just got the expansion too.
Well anyway the campaign was pretty good, gameplay good, but what kept me hooked was the multiplayer. It was just overall a good game...and oh it's not really all that much like warcraft. It's more about offense than base defense.
In warcraft you have to wait to gather up gold/trees but in this you have to rush to gain strategy points. Strategy points=more "money" to spend  |

oh hell yea, one of the best RTS games out id say.
and Winter assault is out.
lot of the players online are European Elitists. |

Also remember to Rush in the beginning.

I have it.
It is a sweet game game. But it has some of the usual problems of the RTS genre:
1) The computer seems to have the upper hand in generating resources
2) You can only play as the Space Marines in DoW: 40k
Winter Assault will cure the latter- all three races can be played, and I hope it addresses the former.
VG game though!

VG game though! | umm thats campaign, You can play with 4 races online. |

My bad for not mentioning that.
But that leads to another problem--
How can you effectively play online with the other races, if you can only use the Space Marines in the Campaign? Usually you use the single player to hash out strategies and etc... |
