A couple of BF2 questions..
I have had this game for about a month or so but I am just getting around to playing it on a daily basis. I have a couple of questions.
1. Where do I find the online rankings?
2. How do I turn that dang radio chatter off?
3. How do I talk to others on a mic?
Also I do not find that shooting someone kills them like it does in a game like CS: Source. Sometimes it takes a couple shots when you are sniping someone. That is bull. One shot one kill with a high powered sniper rifle.Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale

yes, the sniper rifles are horribly underpowered. if you want some god 1s1k fun, play DoD: Source.
Good job, friend-of-friends!

For the sniper, you have to consider the fact that the soldiers are wearing body armor. I do wish it was a bit more accurate.
For VoIP, squad leaders can talk to commanders by pressing V. Squad leaders can talk to squad mates by pressing B.
For online rankings, BFHQ will give you your stats in-game. You can view stats on the internet just by googling BF2 stats. You should see a list of BF2 stat parser websites. Anyone of them will retrieve your stats from the BFHQ servers. My other car is a T-34.

October 18th, 2005, 03:14 PM #5That's definitely wrong because unless you get a headshot or some random shot on a person with a sniper rifle, it will do 90dmg.... So DOD:S also doesn't use 1s1k for the sniper rifles either

October 18th, 2005, 05:07 PM #7Yes, you have to be in a squad to talk. No, squad members can talk to their leader. Squad members other than the leader CANNOT talk to the commander. The ways you can communicate are meant to cut down on pointless chatter overwhelming the important information.

October 18th, 2005, 07:32 PM #9A lot of server admins disable VoIP to cut a load off their servers. Also, finding a squad that has players with mics is rather difficult. That's why you'll find a lot of squads named MICS ONLY.

Sniping Tip # 4: At distance aim for the crown of the head, if the play is moving aim less than a mm infront of them, for some reason doing this u will atleast get a hit every time and headshopt most of the time

Come visit My Teamspeak server. Several of us from Timo use it to chat while playing BF2 and are always looking for more people to join us in a little online fun.
