Need for Speed: Most Wanted Shadows issue

Hi all,

I appear to be having a few shadow issues on NFS:MW. A few people have suggested to me its due to the fact my 9800 Pro doesn't PS3. Others say it is not this, but yet again ATI have borked up there drivers, or something along those lines, clearly pointing the finger at ATI.

Can anyone confirm or deny the PS3 issue, and if it is due to this, is there a way around it.

Reason I'm asking is, while it doesn't bother me, usually travelling that fast I don't have time to notice the shadows, but I plan to upgrade to an X700 256Mb for my new system, will this still have the same issues?

Oh yeah hehe, sorry, they look very pixelated, like a really bad Playstation 1 game is about best way to describe them, in fact Playstation 1 probably does a better job.

Im in work atm, when I get home I'll do a screen shot.

hey, has anyone tried NFS: MW on a geforce 4 MX or a radeon 7500? If so could they post what the performance is like.

how can i get s screen capture on NFS most wanted? should i just press prt screen? or what key should i press?

I have a Geforce 7800 GT and I get the same problem with the video set to it's highest setting. I have played around with the advanced settings and nothing seems to help. Just a game with bad shadow effects. It's a shame that it looks so good otherwise.
