PSP Hacks
I was just wondering if their were any hacks avaliable for the 2.50 Firmware that came out. I'm not going to update until im sure there is, because I like my emulators.
Intel Pentium IIIE 806Mhz Overclocked 24%,
776MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200,
ASUS P3V4X Motherboard. (Built Myself)

Its still against the rules, Sony doesn't allow for emulators etc. Exploits are required to be able to run these utilities.

This kind of crap? Sony is the moron here...they have you agree to all kinds of crap in the EULA...no modding...no hacking it...wtf, did you buy it or are you renting it from them?
And yes, emulators are legal as long as you bought the game in the first place...like if you bought Mario for the NES, you can get an emulator to play it on whatever game you want...when you play a game you didn't buy in the first place is when it becomes illegal."The problem with quotations on the internet is that the sources are hard to verify" - Abraham Lincoln

Heck no, they dont want you doing that.
its just a perk, but they would of shut it down if it was a firmware fix.
Tell ya what, put linux on an xbox and then try to take it back for a warranty fix.
You think they'll take it back?

That is not what I am talking about...it is YOUR PSP, or Xbox...mod it if you want...but if you do mod it obviously you lose your warrenty.
Heck, mabey they will start giving EULA with cars that say you can't modify a single thing, or repair it yourself...now is that right?

My point was you were blasting Sony for updating thier firmware so you can't run emulators allowing illegal ROM's

If they didn't fix it, they could be held legally liable.
Do I agree with Sony's recent actions with the copy protect
Not in the least, but I dont think this is a case where they can be blasted.

I wasn't saying anything like that...I said Sony was a moron because of all the crap in the EULA...not because of the patch.
