Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
Core 2 Duo 3Ghz cpu
Geforce 8600GT 512MB
4GB RAM, (though XP only reads 3.5GB)
Audigy 4 sound card

Sh!t hot sh!t hot sh!t hot yeah!!!

Anyhow, NFS Carbon began to crash also. I found somewhere on the net to run it in compatibility mode for Win98. It works!!! It never crashed after that. I've re-installed NFSMW but haven't yet played it. Hoping it will work for that too.

So there you have it, run the game in WIN98 compatibility mode.

Cheers

NFS Most Wanted

Plz, tell the full PC configuration so that I can find out any hint to solve ur problem.
Um..
Just a minute. Here, I have written the Requirements for NFSMW.
* Windows 2000 or better
* 1.4 GHz CPU
* 256 MB RAM
* 3 GB hard disk space,
* DirectX 9.0c compatible 32 MB video card with one of these chipsets Radeon 7500; Radeon Xpress 200; GeForce 2 MX; Intel 915; S3 GammaChrome S18 Pro
* DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
Does you have all these compatible or better machines.
My NFSMW is portable.
What's ur? Is it a Setup? and What are the contents in CD (If you have a cd to install.) or the contents of the folder from you install the game.
My one is like - I have 22 RAR extractable files. in which one is Executable and Extractable file thru which I run the setup.
the game asks me to insert a CD.
A Daemon tool to mount the Image file of the game. which gets installed at the installation folder thru Setup. Its a imaginary disc.
After that I run executable file named as "Safe Disc 4 hider.exe" or "sd4hide.exe" . A dialog box appears, first I click on Restore and the click on Hide.
These buttons will display simultaneously as I click on it. Close that Dialog and then I run the game.
