A Christmas Proposition
Lets get the clan site off Geocities, Im offering hosting space.
What I can offer you is hosting with a pre-installed copy of PHPNuke (or any other content management system you want)Last edited by uncle_jimbo; December 25th, 2005 at 01:53 AM.

Cool (although I don't participate in CIMO myself to do bandwidth deficiencies).
And if that doesn't work, I can set up a subdomain such as clanimo3.elementcrush.net on my GoDaddy-hosted server.
In fact, if anyone needs freebie webspace...pm me with your proposal and I'll check it out.

The site really isn't THE Clanimo site, but a site dedicated to the DOD:S division of Clanimo.

I will PM Failed (the guy who runs the site) to show him this thread.23. That's the number of people Mr. T has pitied in the time it has taken you to read this sentence.

Well, mabey Failed could keep his site, but mabey some other people could pitch in for hosting costs at godaddy.com...only $4 a month for hosting...or mabey a donation link on the main page...if he doesn't want to pay for hosting himself.

Well if you guys are interested in making us a clan site that's great, a site that would be used for all games, not just DOD:S. It would be great if some of you guys put in the time and effort to do that. I would highly appreciate it

Our DOD:S Clan site is designed and ready to go. It is hosted on geocities because I am unable to afford hosting right now. If anyone has hosting options just pm me and let me know. It wouldnt be a problem switching it.
we DO NOT want a seperate forums for our DOD:S Clan. We are still TIMO and originate from this forum. The forum link from my site comes straight here. So PHP will not be needed but web hosting would be nice. Geocities works only problems are its kind of slow and there is a pretty short transfer limit.Athlon 64 3200+ (2.25ghz)MSI K8N Neo2 PlatBFG Geforce 6800 (12x6 372/739)E-Power Puma II PSU1GB Crucial Ballistix PC4000

The only thing is we do not want to host an HTML based site. Why? Its all about self-sufficiency. With HTML one of our guys would need to upload updated pages, with a content managment system, you guys could be entirely self-sufficient with updates and such.
We would prefer to stick with these:
Drupal
Geeklog
Mambo Open Source
PHP-Nuke
phpWCMS
phpWebSite
Post-Nuke
Siteframe
TYPO3
Xoops
Forums could easily be redirected to here.
