Counter Strike help

Hey guys-
I have been playing CS now almost everyday with out a problem for about a year. Now all of the sudden, after being kicked from a server because it was private, evrytime I try to play, the game shuts it self down. What I mean is, when I connect to a server, I will be able to play for a minute or two, but then the whole program shuts down. Nothing else seems to be affected, when it shuts down, there are no messages or anything not working properly such as other applications. (ie-LimeWire) If any one has any idea what it is, I would appreciate the help.

What kind of power supply do you have? Although you have an older card, I'm thinking it's not the PSU that could be the problem..but rather the video card. It might be straining to play the games. Try lowering the settings and seeing what happens.

What version of CS?

Something that auto-kick when everytime the server detects your IP. Or, it could be just a bug.

Have you tried un- and reinstall CS?

Ya, I was afraid I was going to have to reinstall CS itself. I hate going throught that. Ill try the video card thing, but when I play Condition Zero, I can play all day?

Something went wrong with my Steam very recently, to be exact..just now I can't get to play normal game. I have to reinstalled it then..
