Hey guys,
I've been looking at getting a new computer game probably tomorrow or day after, with some money I got for christmas.
I pretty much like FPS RTS and RPG, oh and obviously MMO......
So, I was thinking, a lot of my friends play WoW, and some play CSS, which I already have, so I was thinking I should get WoW.
Now I've been over to my friends houses a lot, played some of it, and really enjoy iy.
But is it really worth paying the monthly fee for? Because my aprents wont let me use their CC, so i have to buy the prepaid cards, which is ok....
Just wondering what ur opinions are... |

I played for close to a year before I really started slowing down
pretty fun game.. better if you have a group of friends to play with.
By far the best MMO I've played (short list, but everything else I've played requires a lot of grinding... BORING) |

I have to admit the game is awesome, and a ton of fun to play. But let me warn you, it will take over your life. I just quit the game, I spent way to much time playing it, for the past 6 months I've like done nothing productive, before in my free time I would mess with tech stuff, but until like two weeks ago all I did was play WoW in my free time. So, me and my friend decided to quit, and it feels great, haha. So, its an awesome game, but let you be warned, its addicting as crap.

I personally do not own WoW (maybe yet), but I always hear that the game is hella addicting. I even saw an article about a kid in another country (Korea, or something) who commits suicide so he can stop playing the game. O_O;
I don't really have any MMORPGS because I don't want to pay to play online, its not kewl in my world. But a 30 dollar card every two months sounds ok to pay for.
I think its 15 bux a/mo.
The game has a free 15-day trial, so you can get to playing once you buy it.
You can also download the game off fileplanet with a ten day trial. I tried downloading it, but I gave up and had to go to bed (2.0-2.5GB download, it was 3:00am, I only got to 1.5GB )
give it a try before you buy it.
(Between me and you, well, ok, the whole damn forum, I'm scared to buy the game, its sounds TOO addiciting o_o; ) |

Good thing you have parents that take you OFF the computer, that kid in korea has neglectful parents. They should put good parenting as part of the minimum requirements on the WoW box. |

i was wondering though....im not going to be building a new computer for month or maybe more..and so i was wondering if i should upgrade my ram right now?
Dell Pc Specs:
Intel P4 2.8ghz
512megs dual channel ram pc2700
80 gig hd
fx5200
P.S. Is Azenram any good for just a cheap upgrade? Cuz there's a 512 sitck on for 39 bucks after rebates at Futureshop...and i really dont wana spend more then i have to until i build my new comp...just so i can get some good performance...:P
