Umm.... put them in your 360 and hope the emulation software on the 360 works right.

Well I'm workoing with a friend of mine to get his Xbox games to play on the Xbox 360 but he says it said something along the lines of the games not working and needing to burn a disc or something to that effect. I don't own an X360 so I don't know how this process works all too well.
The Xbox.com backwards compatibility FAQ says this: Quote: |
Note: A software emulator is required for each original Xbox game you play on your Xbox 360™ console.
| This note is from the list of games that are compatible on the Xbox 360 and his games are on the list. |

the emulation software is already on the Xbox 360 (Don't know about the non hard drive version though). If the game is on the list of compatible games he wants to play then there should be no problem. Just stick in the game and go. It has to be the original game, not a burned disk. If the emulation does not work then he needs to get ahold of tech support at M$. There is no need to burn disks, mod the box what-so-ever. |

Okay, in the FAQ it says that you can burn the update to a disc and load it up on the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, I can't do that because when I try to, it says I'm too young (my hotmail account uses my real age, so apparently I have to be 18).
So I'm making a new one right now and setting the age to like 85 or something. |

Oh, you're talking about burning the update.? I assumed you were talking about games. Yes you can burn the update to update it. Burned games won't work though. |

I just downloaded the update. Do I burn the .zip file itself to the disc or do I extract the contents? I assume the X360 will just take care of the .zip file? |

Ah okay. I made the e-mail and downloaded from Xbox.com and didn't get the chance to read your site. |
