How Long Before We Have Flowline?

AGEIA PhysX is awesome but it's always nice to look ahead. How long do you think it will be before we start seeing something like Flowline in games?

In case you don't know what Flowline is, here's some videos:

Somehow I doubt those are rendered real-time... if it is, that would be very impressive. Otherwise it limits the ability of them being placed in games, you'd have to render segments for different resolutions and it wouldn't be all that dynamic.

Definately something for movies and cinematic sequences though.

Well, probably not with the first generation of physics cards...but I would say that by the third generation we will definatly have stuff like that.

With the Ageia card that is coming out, it will be able to do some of that...but not in as high detail as they are showing...

No, those aren't rendered real-time. I'm simply thorwing out a hypothetical question.

WOW I think that's quite a bit beyond what Aegia can pull off at the moment but it looks great!

I don't think we'll see anything like that clustercomputerpoweredawesomeness anytime soon, but the Aegia is a step in the right direction.
    Good job, friend-of-friends!
