| Conclusion of E3 Press Conferences
Soooo, now that the big threes press conferences are over, whose did you enjoy most?
Personally, I feel Microsoft did an excellent job this year at E3 and kept me drooling for most of it. I know now why I need a 360 and plan to pick one up once the funds come in
Nintendo, of course had a good presentation, could have been better in some ways I suppose, but overall good. They just didn't talk enough about the games I supposed, and the lack of a price dissapointed me somewhat as well. Over all good show though, and I really liked the new speaker on the controller itself.
Sony's was good I suppose as well, but in all it was simply not what I expected from them if they planned to keep the momentum of the ps3 and their company at large. Simply put, they left the ps2 high and dry. Where was killzone and devil may cry? There have been a lot of raised questions towards those games, and especially now, considering the games they showed simply didn't look nearly as good as last years trailers...hmmm The price is what pretty much turned me off the most. Second, the extremely similar controller, with the addition of primitive 6 axis motion that just can't truly compare to Wii's much more refined and well balanced free hand motion. Then with the extremely similar "guide" button on the controller...that rings a bell doesn't it actually (cough 360 cough! ) Nothing appealed to me as the hype suggested it would.
NOPE i'm not bashing sony, but for all hype that they put out, they surely did not deliver at this E3, and many major game sites agree with me on that as well.

this is how i rank the press conferences
#1 Sony Playstation
#2 Nintendo
#3 Microsoft Xbox
what i thought was not very nice is that Microsoft took some shots at both sony and nintendo when neither of them said anything about any, well they never said any cheap stuff. i think the reason microsoft said stuff about sony and nintendo is because they are threatened by them |

Sounds like Sony bashing to me... Not surprising considering the source though

I didn't see the sony presentation, other than reading up on the controller and the price, so I can't make a comment.
But I liked Nintendo's presentation a lot...especially the speech by Iwata about gaming and the gamer/non-gamer issue. Microsoft's was good too. |

I only saw Sony's conference.. I completely missed Nintendo's and Microsofts'.
However, I did see the video of everyone playing the Wii on Nintendo's website and it was nuts! I really liked that Red Steel one the most, with the katana.
