Seriously, do you?
I've tried to, honestly I have. But I can't get beyond the first line before I just say "knob it" and click "I Agree".
I can't understand most of the legalese. I can't be bothered reading 100 paragraphs worth of incomprehensible gibberish before I can save the world.
They could oh-so easily write it in simple language that anyone can understand, but they choose not to. I get the feeling that they don't really want you to read it, only to agree.
And I get the feeling I'm not alone. |

I only read the EULA when I have a fishy feeling about something. For example, if I'm uncomfortable with the fine print, I'll read and re-read the entire EULA, especially looking for the way words are used and look out for anything that sounds suspicious.

Nope they remind me of the IRS tax codes. Long and boring and only understandable to some.

I'd rather read the Holy Bible in the binary codes.

On line 666 of that EULA:
"I hereby sell my soul to Electronic Arts"
Not in english either, but in some archaic Satan speak that no one understands.
I never read em.

I remember this clause in a EULA for Ghost Recon that stated that:
Use of Other Material is Prohibited. Use, in any manner, of
the trademarks, logos, symbols, art work, images, screen displays or
screenshots, sound effects, and other such material contained within,
generated by, or relating to the Software is prohibited. http://www.ghostrecon.com/uk/product_gr.php
Scroll down to the bottom and watch them break their own contract. |
