| Steam - bringing more game genres in one app?
Well, it seems that Steam is incorporating many games.
Anyone remember Disciples II? The turn-based game? They are bringing that to Steam and many other even RTS' as well!
So, how do you think?
Is steam an awesome app. or annoying? |

I don't think it is awesome, but I do like how they are making a lot of games available to buy and download. |

Great concept, poor application.
I can't count the amount of times I've been unable to play a game because Steam likes to not work. The worst example being HL2: EP1; I preloaded the game, and bought the retail version. However, I couldn't install it since the Steam servers were down. I had the disk in my drive, and the content already there. Yet I couldn't install it. |

slightly annoying at times, but honestly, if Valve wrote a system OS based around Steam I would probably run it instead of Windows.

I'm not sure about Steam, but it seem to start doing things without my permission. Another thing, I don't agree that Valve should be pimping for Microsoft. I had to reinstall DirectX with a test to see that my OS was legal while playing HL2. (It is) It's Microsoft's job to do that not Valve. I bought a game, not an operating system.
I mean what's next? An entire audit of my entire computer looking for music, software, and porn?
