This is how to fix problems with BF2142

Ok I know there are going to be numerous posts about problems with this game so Im going to post some remedies known:

#1 Uninstall the game and reinstall with the 1.1 patch (make sure
you install the patch without the game running or it won't work)
#2 Update video, mainboard and sound card drivers
#3 Install the windows hotfix for the security update

#4 Update punkbuster

#5 Go to run, type in dxdiag then turn down your hardware sound
acceleration level to basic acceleration. Turn off any hardware
accelerations you might have ie: overclocking
#6 In the game sound options, turn of VOIP and EAX

lol the problem i have with it is that i cant get voip working! why o why did i get vista??
