| Warcraft 3 : Frozen Throne Hosting Issues
Hello, i saw from a search engine you guys helped out someone with this problem before. Well mine is alil diffrent. Ok so I have went to firewall and enabled port "6113" name "wacraft3" for "TCP". I have also enabled "file sharing" and my server process is running. I am linked through a router "non-wireless" with 2 computers on the network as well but they dont even have warcraft on them. Also in warcraft options port 6113 is set. I would really like to host games so could somone please help me with this.
Thanks abunch,

I've been battling this problem for months. I thought it was my router, I thought it was busted or something. I had it running DMZ, with the ports forwarded, all my software firewalls off, so I figured it was just broken. I moved to a new place without a router, and a brand new modem. I still can't get it to work.
I've seen alot of people with this problem who can't seem to find the reason it doesn't work. I am still searching.
I know this doesn't help you, but I'm just saying: If you can't get port forwarding to work, don't strain yourself: Something else is at work here.

| Router Settings
So you put in the correct port to forward, but did u double check you have the right ip address.
>>>1. make sure protocol is set to both
>>>2. go to start>run>cmd>ipconfig and your ip should be listed as something like 192.168.1.xxx depending on your network configuration.
>>>3. put a check in the box and save your settings.
**Now host a game and people should start joining. Try to get a friend to test it. If you still have the same issue with latency, I strongly recommend you flash your router to the latest dd-wrt firmware. This is an opensource (free) firmware release, compatible with most routers. Be sure look up your router on the Wiki to make sure it's compatible.
If you still have problems try putting your ip into DMZ, which opens all ports.
