    Unreal tournament Question

     
    I setup a server this weekend, and could get to it from my other machine. I could move around in the map like I was in Spectator mode, but I was not set to Spectator.

    the message "waiting for Other players" never left the screen.

    I could not see the other players in the map, but I could use the Locator to see where they were supposed to be.

    I tried changing the max number of players to 6 from 16 thinking it was looking for more players, but nothing still.

    After a few minutes one of the players in the game will lose, and the other will win, even though there is no fighting going on, and the game is set to no Time limit.

    Normally you should just have to hit fire to respawn, or spawn into the game, but it isn't letting me do that.

    I must say that this is a copy of an installation that worked fine before, so the setup should not be a problem.

    Any Ideas? Anyone seen this before?

    A copy of an installation? Does that mean you copied the disc and used the copied disc or you copied the UT folder from another HDD and transfered it to your server. If you did the latter...I would suggest reinstalling it from scratch. Transfering an install from another computer doesn't always work.

    Make sure that the game is not set up for tournament mode. I had the same problem when I checked that option
