Oblivion: power game or role paly?
i notcied alot of ppl here play oblivion.
who here power games (get the full +5 eveyr level), or who just takes a certain path and settles with the lower points?
i keep restarting because i want to get the most out of my character, and am getting pretty fed up and may just take a normal class.

I'm not 100% sure exactly what you mean...but I started off with a stealth guy with hints of combat. Worked my way up now to level 25 and he is extremely well balanced, except in magic, which I am now leveling up.
Always a birth sign choose : The thief
It gives you the best stats for all around. Just build a guy you like at first, and build up on him. I started the game with one guy, and I ended up finishing the game with the same guy.Main PC: AMD FX-8350 / 16gb DDR3 1600 / AMD 7970GE 1200mhz Core & 1600mhz Mem / Win7 Pro 64bit

well you know how when you raise the levels of your major skills you raise your overall level. so 'power gamers' will make their major skills things that are easy to control, such as a non-crucial magic like illusion. this makes the +5 for the level up much more attainable, but means you level up a lot slower.

a role playing character would be lets say a mage whos major skills are mostly magic, or a thieif whos major skills are sneak and agility and marksman (most likely marks)
