Halo 3
I can't wait any longer!
Only 3 more days!
Tomorrow I am going to go and pick up an X360 for myself...our other X360 got sent in for repairs (it was from launch).
Only 3 days!
I think I have lost a few years of my life just waiting for this game to come out.

I work at a Gamestop close to where I live and we are doing midnight release for Halo 3. It sucks because I have to work for it from 9:00 at night on Monday to 2:30 Tuesday morning.

DAMNIT that was hard... but fuuuuuuuuuun.)// E6400 @ 2.80ghz // 7600GT @ 590/720 // 2GB Patriot DDR2-800 //

I haven't played any of the two, but I might just pick up this one for the x360 collection.
Did your X360 get sent in for the infamous Red Ring of Death Ex? I am hoping mine does it so I can get a new X360 from MS. They extended the warranty because of it.

Halo 3 is amazing!!! It's all the best things about Halo 1 and 2 combined, but without everything that was bad about them. The ending is perfect!!! it actually left me speechless. BTW if you want a really nice 50" tv, get a Vizio plasma. sure you will get slight burn ins in the beginning, but with a few months of use they stop.

In 5 hours or so I am going to go to Walmart and see whats going on.

If there is a lot of people or they have something interesting there I might stay and wait till release.

It got a 9.5 on Gamespot, so I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I know I won't be disappointed, I am pretty sure I understand how the majority of the game is setup.

September 25th, 2007, 12:35 AM #17exactly the same here. mate and i sat down and clocked the original on legendary, spend like 2 days straight and beat it. absolutely awesome. halo 1 was revolutionary. i haven't been game enough to play no. 2 because i just don't think it would match 1.Not getting it though, haven't even played the second one (Or really beat hte first one. A friend (or friend of friend if you want to get technical) and I played through almost all of it on Legend. DAMNIT that was hard... but fuuuuuuuuuun.)
i work those hours every night, then on a sunday night i start at 6pm and go till 4am. beat that!

Beat that? I guess I can't anymore, but for 8 weeks in the summer of 2005 I worked a 7 day a week 15 hour shift starting at 3:15 PM and going until 6:30 AM, though it wasn't really bad until the shift schedule broke down and I worked 2 weeks averaging 17+ hrs a day (those extra couple hours make a hell of a difference).
Now, however I teach 6 class hours a week for $450/month plus an apartment, but since I'm in China, that's about 3 or 4 times what I need to live off of.
