    Blacksite: Area 51

Well I recently got this game because I'm a Sci Fi fanatic but I have to say the game is a let down. Sure its decent looking and the story is great but it seems like the developers took A LOT of shortcuts. I don't know if a newer patch can fix it but you cant even turn on AA, so shadows are jagged blobs. Anyway for those of you interested in buying the game I would say don't. Its not worth it unless you get it through a different means <.<

Hope this saved someone some cash

Those games weren't very appealing to begin with.

If I see it on the clearance endcaps at Target in coming months, for less than $15 as I usually find many games like that, I'll grab it & stick it on the shelf & maybe someday play it LOL. Just Grabbed GRAW II for $14 or so tonight, now sitting next to Battlestations Midway & Dawn Of War Gold Edition & Dawn Of War Crusade, FEAR (all purchased for under $8 each) and a few others I haven't even installed LOL.

as to the AA issue in this game, did you try forcing AA in the nVidia Drivers? see if that worked?

    I could have but I didn't try it. I shouldn't have to

    Deleted the game already anyway.

Angry Crash Buddy Process error for Blacksite Area 51 PC game

Hey, I recently bought this game for my brother, while we can install the game on one computer, when we go to play it, it tells us that it can't Create Crash Buddy Process - can't diagnose crash...? Does anyone in laymans terms tell me what the heck this means and how to fix it? Besides the obvious of using the game as a coaster! Thanks Robyn Please email me if you know of any fixes wb@nrtco.net. thanks

Bought the game from gogamer.com for $1.90 (Black Friday Madness). Paying any higher for this game would've been a crime, on my part, as well as the retailer.

I finished it. It could have used a few more creatures. Still, I think it was worth playing. Especially for the price.

I played the game a little while running Windows 7 (when I didn't have motherboard drivers). After installing XP again, I cannot get the game to run in any situation. UT3 (which uses the same graphics engine) runs perfectly...but this game crashes before I can leave the menu, generally locking up the computer.

Midway being bought by Warner Brothers (seriously...what???), support for the game is non-existent even though I did manage to patch it to v1.2. Plus this game being reported as use StarForce does not help at all either. Thank god I've still got the StarForce remover tucked away.

What I played of the game was awesome and I truly enjoyed it. Wanted to play it more...but everything seems to be working against me on this. I'm far from happy atm
