Unfortunately karma I agree. While I do not care for xfire completely it is simplistic enough to draw the gamer not technical enough for irc away from yahoo, msn, aim and icq.

So I installed xfire. I'm not sure how often/if ever I will run it, but I'll try to leave it on.
Now some 5 on 5 action, I'm down for that!

And Key, currently I don't have a server going. I thought I did, but I guess I didn't set it up right, or, my router is being a PITA. If your want to set one up , that would rock..

I edited the OP to add in in game names and xfire, since I guess that's the best way to hook up with people.

Have you entirely missed the point of Xfire?

I don't use it so I can chat to 14 year old girls in Amsterdam like IRC people do, I use it so I can talk to friends in game, have a list of servers that I can simply click on and join a friend's game with a single click, without asking him the IP of the server.

I want to join, got cod4 a few weeks back after a friend said I should. I was kind of getting tired of counter strike anyways. I am rank 54, have to say that the M14 and P90 is the best gun combo.

Well, nothing is really organized yet. We first off need a server. Till we get one going though, most of us are on xfire. You can just join the games we're on.
I'm trying to keep the first post updated so we can get each others in game names and xfire names though. So get xfire, and add us.
